Correct Use of PDO's Emergency
Number – 5555
Steps
1. If you observe or in contact with any emergency
you should dial the number:
I. 5555 – within PDO network ( i.e. from
your PDO Office phone)
II. 246 – 75555 – from the national telephone
network or via GSM
III. 243 – 85555 from the national telephone
network or via GSM
2. The Emergency Telephone Operator (ETO) will ask
you six basic questions
I. Your name;
II. Location of emergency;
III. Type of emergency, e.g. fire, medical;
IV. Your contact number;
V. Do you require ambulance;
VI. Do you require fire brigade

3. The ETO will then contact the Local Emergency


Base Controller (LEBC) and inform about the
Emergency Situation & if necessary he may
activate the Local Emergency Control Team &
follow up accordingly in line with local/corporate
emergency response procedure.

What happened?
On 5th May 2017 at 23:50 hrs the deceased was complaining Photo explaining what
of chest pain. On the way to PAC, deceased was in resting
position closing his eyes with snoring sound breathing. The

arrival at the PAC Clinic at 00:25 AM , the PAC doctor
examined him and found no signs of life.

Date: 21.10.2017 Incident: Non Accidental Death


What happened?
On 21 October 2017, a time-keeper was found unresponsive in his room when a colleague noticed him
missing. Medical services were called but they could not revive him in spite of all possible medical aid
(CPR, AED & Life Saving Drugs).

What happened?
A 44 year-old worker, suddenly collapsed to the ground while
walking to get into the vacuum tanker used for sludge
removal his co-workers brought him to PDO clinic for
treatment. On arrival, doctor found him unresponsive with no
obvious external injuries. Doctor attempted CPR but failed to
