 50 Tags maximum per resource 

 Cost Center and Environment Tags should be used for all resources. 

 The Cost Center Tag can be used to effectively track costs by team,
dept, location, resource type, etc.

 Leverage Tags to Automate processes (Automation Runbooks)

 Enforce Tag creation and assignment using Azure Policies

Types of Tags include: 

 Geography = West US
 Dept = Sales 
 Data Classification = PII. HIPAA
 Criticality = Production, mission critical
 SLA = 99.9
 Environment = production, test, dev
 Application Type = Web App, Function App, Logic App, etc.
