Means of communication

There are a lot of different means of

communication. The most popular of
them are telephones, television,
internet, ordinary post office.
The idea of telephone came to
Charles Bourseul in 1849-1853 years
but Alexander Bell was the first who
patented this device in 1876
It was long time ago but now even
children have telephones. We can call and
send messages when we want.
Nowadays there is television in every house.
We watch different TV programmes, TV shows,
News and some films. From TV we get a lot of
information what we can call the type of
communication.
The internet is a global system of computer networks.
In 1957 the Department of
Defense of the USA
decided to invent
computer network in
order to have a good
system of information
transfer.
California university set
the first server on the
second of September 1669.
By the 30 of June 2012 the
number of users, who use
Internet every day, became
more than 2,4 milliard people
But there are still people who
send ordinary letters and
parcels.
I think the most important means of communication is face-to-face when
you see your friends and relatives and spend time with them.
