INTRODUCTION
The study “Students Preference of Learning Method in Buenaventura Alandy
National High School”, seeks the learners learning preferences. This preferences
are modalities implemented according to the learners needs which are: Modular,
Distance Learning, and Face-to-Face Classes. Online distance learning means you
are studying online with your classmates via video conferencing apps like zoom,
google classroom and others. Modular distance learning means the teacher will
distribute learning tools then the students will study and answer it by themselves.
Face-to-Face learning is where the students go to school, meet physically, and
study together. This research aims to know the struggles of students during
modular, distance learning, and face-to-face classes, to help them coping with the
new normal, to address the issues and the problem and provide a blended learning
method for learners.
1. What are the struggle that student have faced during modular distance learning? What is
the reason for the struggle? And how did it affect students performance?
2. What are the struggle that Audents have paced in the current pace-to- Face learning?
What is the reason for the struggle?
3. If students are asked to choose between these learning methods (Distance Learning,
Face-to-Face) what will they choose? And why?
4. How well did the students handle the two years experience distance learning? Describe
your experience.
5. What is the students environmental preference of learning between Distance and Face
to Face classes? What is the reason for your answer? And do student think their
environment affects their academic performance?
The study will not cover unrelated matters other than the
student’s learning preference. Each respondent will be given the
same questionnaire for them to answer.

INTERPRETATION
It is clear that students generally prefer traditional classes over
modular ones. This is likely due to the fact that they find it easier to
understand the lessons when a teacher is present in the classroom,
as opposed to having to work on their own. Furthermore, fewer
distractions in the classroom can be beneficial for students, as they
are more likely to stay focused and work hard, rather than be pulled
away by electronic devices or other outside stimuli. This can also
help reduce anxiety, temper tantrums, procrastination, and other
negative emotions when teaching together as a team. As such, it is
easy to see why traditional classes are preferred by many students.
CONCLUSION
In summary, face-to-face classes, online distance classes, and
module classes offer different learning methods for students.
While many students may opt for face-to-face classes due to
the direct interaction between the adviser and the learner, as
well as the ability to learn from each other, it is important to
note that there are potential drawbacks to this type of learning.
Specifically, depending on the amount of material being
learned, there can be negative consequences for the learner. It
is thus essential that students take into account their own
situation, both at school and at home, before making a
decision about which learning method to pursue

RECOMMENDATION
We recommend our research to the students of Buenaventura Alandy
National High School, as it can help them make an informed decision
about which learning modality is best suited to their individual learning
needs. Moreover, this research can also aid teachers in their efforts to
provide the best instruction for their students. If the students are having
difficulty understanding the material, the teachers may need to adjust
their teaching methods to ensure that the students are able to learn in the
most efficient way possible. For future researchers, this research can be
a valuable resource, as it can provide them with a foundation of
knowledge upon which to build their own research. We believe that this
research can help future researchers save time and energy in their
research endeavors.
