EMERGENCY RESPONSE ALGORITHM
• Assess MECHANISM OF INJURY or NATURE OF ILLNESS

• Call the EMERGENCY HOTLINE NUMBERS.

• RHU will assess the condition of the patient


& deploy VHW to the area.

• RHU will Dispatch an ambulance to area either


RHU ambulance or Rescue165.
COVID-19
FOR SUSPECT CASE
1.) ASK THE FOLLOWING:
? Does the patient have fever, cough or any respiratory symptoms?
? Have they travelled from countries or places included in the TRAVEL
RESTRICTION advisory in the past 14 days?

2.) Contact RHU or PR165 Hotline

3.) Transport to Municipal Isolation Unit (MIU)


or RHU.
COVID-19
FOR SUSPECT CASE
• HANDS ONLY CPR
 If someone is collapsed and not breathing normally, do not put your
face close to theirs.
 Use towel or piece of clothing and lay it over the mouth and nose or
put a face mask to cover. Do not do mouth to mouth.
 Start chest compression follow BLS ILCOR guidelines 2015.
 Do not insert anything by mouth.
 Use a public access defibrillator if available.
