2nd Grading Period - Week 8 - Respect Cultural Differences

Have you experienced talking to 


indigenous people  or to a foreigner?
Have you noticed how you differ 
from them?  How did you feel? We
are all created with equal rights.
Wherever we are,  everyone has the
right to live with dignity, safely, and
peacefully. We may come from
different races, culture, status in life,
religion, or beliefs, still we all came
from our one Great Creator.

DISCUSSION
• Filipinos are famous in the whole world
for their hospitality, estimating visitors
good-naturedly. 
• Naturally, Filipinos are very helpful,
thoughtful, and respectful.
• That's why tourists and foreigners
unsurprisingly  visit the Philippines the
most. 
• Aside from the beautiful places they
can visit and spend their vacation with,
surely they enjoy their stay here in our
country because of the Filipino who
treat them well by being hospitable  at
all times.

 We may have different races, culture, physical features or
status in life but we still have the same goals and dreams in
life--- that is everyone must live peacefully and   calmly.  
 All of us have the responsibility to respect the rights of
each other and to promote a nation with love to mankind.

 This song was sung by many
children who came  from
different races in the world. 
 Oona composed this song to
encourage everyone to value the
unity of the people with the same
heartbeat whatever races they
come from, whatever culture they
have.

 If all of us will follow this, surely this world will be
filled with happiness.
 We may have cultural differences, but still we have
one heart.
  Our home is here on Earth.
 Let's make it more colorful, peaceful, and happy as we
live. 
 Do this by accepting whatever differences we have
and show respect for the rights of each other.

 It is important to accept, respect, and learn the different cultures
and traditions  other  people/races have because we need to show

racial  differences an open mind. But that doesn't necessarily mean we need to imitate

traditions? God's laws. Now, if other's culture is abiding rules different from
us, we should not stop them.  We need to respect their culture but
we have to stand up for what we know is right.
