● ILA is the largest language provider in Vietnam, with more
than 44 Language Centres located in 13 towns and cities
across the country, plus our public school programmes in
Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

ILA Locations:
Ho Chi Minh City
● HCMC is the biggest city in Vietnam and a
cosmopolitan hub.

● The city is a vibrant mix of traditional and modern

influences, with an incredible array of street food.

● There is a large international community spread across

the many administrative districts.

● HCMC is conveniently located for travel both to the

southern beach towns of Vietnam and international
travel to Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.

● ILA currently has 21 centres across the city as well as

our public school programme. Our corporate Head
Office is also located here.

ILA Locations:
Ha Noi
● Hanoi is the capital city of Vietnam and a settlement
has been located in the area for more than 3,000 years.
● Hanoi is a smaller, more compact city than HCMC with
a more traditional feel to the culture and people.
● The city provides a great base for travel to Ha Long
Bay and the scenic northern towns of Ninh Binh, Mai
Chau and Ha Giang.
● ILA currently has 11 centres across the city as well as
our public school programme. Our Head Office for the
north is also located here.

ILA Locations:
Ba Ria
● Ba Ria is a city in Ba Ria–Vung Tau Province in the
Southeast region of Vietnam.
● Ba Ria which approximately 20 minutes by car
from Vung Tau, is becoming a popular destination
with a developing expat community and social
scene, whilst retaining a low cost of living.
● Living and working in Ba Ria city, you can get local
experiences with traditional food there
● ILA has 1 centre in Ba Ria.

Bien Hoa
● A quieter urban location in southern Vietnam.

● Situated by the Saigon River, with restaurants, bars,

supermarkets and other modern amenities.

● A 40 minute train or bus journey to Ho Chi Minh City.

● Full-time teachers will be given a 5,000,000 VND/month

housing allowance.

● ILA has 2 centres in Bien Hoa.

Binh Duong
● A smaller town in southern Vietnam, close to the
countryside.

● A place to enjoy a more authentic Vietnamese

experience, but still with access to modern amenities.

● Close to Ho Chi Minh City, less than an hour away.

● Full-time teachers will be given a 5,000,000 VND/month

housing allowance.

● ILA has 3 centres in Binh Duong.

ILA Locations:
Can Tho
● Can Tho is the fourth largest city in Vietnam, and
the largest in the Mekong Delta.
● Located around 170 kilometres to the west of
Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho is situated on the banks
of the Hau River, a tributary of the Mekong.
● Famous for the floating market, rice paper-making
village and picturesque rural canals.
● Full-time teachers will be given a 7,000,000
VND/month housing allowance.
● ILA has 2 centres in Can Tho.

ILA Locations:
Da Nang
● Da Nang is one of the fastest growing cities in Vietnam.

● Located on the coast of central Vietnam, Da Nang is

a sought after location due to the beaches, water
sports and proximity to the historic town of Hoi An.
The famous Hai Van Pass is located a short drive
from the city.
● The city has a more laid back lifestyle than Ho Chi Minh
City or Hanoi, without feeling isolated or remote.
● ILA currently has 2 centres in Da Nang.

Ha Long
● Located around 2 hours from Hanoi, Ha Long is
the closest city to the UNESCO World Heritage
Site of Ha Long Bay.

● It is a gentle, peaceful location with great access

to many tourist destinations.

● Ha Long is famous not only for the

aforementioned bay, but also the incredible array
of seafood.

● Full-time teachers will be given a 5,000,000

VND/month housing allowance.

● ILA has 1 centre in Ha Long..

Hai Phong
● Close to the UNESCO World Heritage location of
Ha Long Bay and Cat Ba Island, Hai Phong is the
third largest city in Vietnam and an important port
town.

● Hai Phong is around 2 hours from Hanoi and the town

is just 20 minutes to the nearest beach!

● The cost of living in Hai Phong is still relatively cheap.

● Full-time teachers will be given a 5,000,000

VND/month housing allowance.

● ILA has 1 centre in Hai Phong.

Hoi An
● Hoi An is an ancient town located around
30 minutes from Da Nang.

● The picturesque, sleepy town is a popular

tourist destination with amazing seafood,
famous cooking schools and an abundance
of tailors.

● Hoi An has one of the best beaches -

An Bang - in Vietnam.

● ILA has 1 centre in Hoi An.

ILA Locations:
Nha Trang
● Nha Trang is a coastal city and capital of Khanh
Hoa Province, on the South Central Coast of
Vietnam.

● It is well known for its beaches and scuba diving

and has developed into a popular destination for
international tourists.

● There are several resorts — such as Vinpearl,

Diamond Bay and Ana Mandara — and
amusement and water parks, in the city and on
islands off the coast.

● ILA has 1 centre in Nha Trang.

ILA Locations:
Rach Gia
● Rach Gia is a coastal town on the Gulf of Thailand,
around 250 kilometres from Ho Chi Minh City.
● The town has great weather most of the year and it is
possible to catch the ferry to neighbouring Phu Quoc
island. There is also an airport with regular flights to Phu
Quoc, which is fast becoming one of the ‘Go To Places’
for both Vietnamese holidaymakers and travellers alike.
● Full-time teachers will be given a 5,000,000 VND/month
housing allowance.
● ILA has 1 centre in Rach Gia.

ILA Locations:
Vung Tau
● Vung Tau is a coastal town located in the south
of Vietnam.
● It is accessible via bus - around a 2 hour drive -
or ferry from Ho Chi Minh City.
● If you are looking for a quieter, more relaxed
location with more of a feel of ‘getting away from
it all’, Vung Tau is definitely somewhere worth
considering.
● ILA has 1 centre in Vung Tau.

● Due to the desirable location, vacancies can be

scarce, so candidates need to be able to relocate
quickly in most cases.

● Ages 4 - 10 (Preschool to grade 5)

● Gives students an opportunity to practise maths skills learned at public school and
build confidence in- and love for maths.
● Aligned to the Vietnamese school curriculum - iMaths teachers don’t teach new
concepts but build on existing knowledge
● Supports development of Rich Maths soft skills like curiosity, collaboration, resilience,
and resourcefulness.
● Supports development of critical, and logical thinking skills through problem solving.

● Extensive training and ongoing support for teachers taking iMaths classes

● General English for adults

● A focus on functional English to use in the real world
● Communicative, problem-solving approaches
● Most classes take place during evenings

Language Centre Classes
● Language Centre classes take place at our
purpose built centres where students come to us.

● Classes are usually scheduled between

17:30 - 21:45 Monday - Friday and between
07:30 - 21:00 at Weekends.

● Students are limited to a maximum of 19 per class,

and typical numbers are around 15.

● Summer School classes are scheduled during

the daytime Monday - Friday in June and July.

Public School Classes
● Public School classes take place at one of our
partner schools. All classes are Monday-Friday
during daytime hours (no evenings/weekends)

● Teachers are usually based at the closest Language

Centre.

● You’ll meet students from a range of backgrounds,

many of whom won’t have access to ESL tutoring
outside of school.

● Experience life at a local Vietnamese school.

A great way to give back to the community.

Induction at ILA
● A comprehensive induction, including a HR
induction from the Expat Services (Welfare) team.

● Familiarisation with ILA classes, facilities,

methodologies, processes and practices.

● 1 week training induction through the ILAYL to

familiarise yourself with ILA’s methodologies of
teaching English to young learners. This is a
compulsory, paid induction for Full-Time
teachers working in our Language Centres.
Currently overseas hired teachers will not be
paid the supplement as it will be used by ILA
towards quarantine costs.

All our classrooms are fitted with computers, projectors
and internet connectivity. All our classrooms are
decorated with age appropriate furniture and fittings.

photocopiers as well as an array of toys.
games, flashcards etc to supplement
your lessons.

● You will have access to ILA’s own
