Project Amount:- ETB 1,207,195,702.89 with VAT
Project Duration:- 730 Cal days
Commencement date:- 15 days after site hand over

1. Sand
– Suppliers:-
• Four suppliers are listed and signed Agreement which is
delivering the same for running projects in Addis Ababa.
• Unit price of these suppliers-500 Birr /M3
• Cost per 16m3=8000.00 Birr
• Quality assurance will act on site for approval of materials
delivered by suppliers

– Company trucks
• Process- site selection will be carried out
• Contact and delivery chain established
• Payments will be affected through drivers.
• Cost per 16m3=5463.00 Birr
• Quality Assurance will identify quarry site for
delivery.

• Source are crushers in and around Addis Ababa
• Five potential suppliers identified.
• Price will be collected after quarry visit is carried
out for quality and potential stock.
3. Cement -
• Delivery based on consultant approval
• Major suppliers were Mugher, Mesobo cement
factories and the Supplier is also Identified.

• SBG is the major supplier where delivery is made
from YBEL Industry Park Stock
• Other to be considered are East Steel and

wooden materials sales shop
• Two evaluations (price, stock and credit facility parameters)
were made and the supplier wins and continues.
• Three suppliers were also included in the suppliers list as
alternative suppliers.

7 – Form work and scaffolding
 Design of formwork for all block for footing, foundation column,
suspended slab and beams, elevation column is finalized
 Footing to grade beam already steel panels are secured from Gotera
store and Gambella project, for intermediate beams, steel panel from
gambella project, mekelle university and yayo project will be
demobilized.
 The methodology, single props with beam forming head and steel
panels for intermediate beams, and steel props with shuttering panel for
slabs at least for two slabs for each block.
 These materials will be transported from gambella, judge, Yayo and
Bahirdar
 One store keeper and one formwork and scaffolding supervisor will be
assigned.
