Topic 1:
My mum is the best
Has anyone ever asked you: “Who is the most important to you”? To me, the
most wonderful person in my life is my mum. No one can replace her in my
heart.
My mother is 40 years old. She is tall and good-looking. She is very nice and
gentle, helps me and has always been there for me when I need her. I am
grateful to her because she gave birth to me and helped me grow up. I have a
special respect and admiration for my mother as she is my first teacher who
teaches me to become a good person.
Also, my mother is my best friend, she understands me and helps me to solve
my problems. Therefore, on our way home from school, I often tell her all the
things that happened while I was in school and she listens happily. Sometimes
she gives me some useful advice.
I can’t say how much love her. I will try my best to see my mother’s smiling face
in every walk of my life.
Topic 2:
My dream job
Hi everyone. I’m Natasha. Today I’d like to talk
about my dream job in the future.
When I grow up, I want to be an astronaut. I want to
travel to space and discover life on other planets. It
would be exciting to walk on Mars and take a
picture with an alien! I think this would be a good
job for me because I’m very curious and
adventurous. I’m good at science, too. To become
an astronaut, I have to study science harder and
exercise every day.
I think being an astronaut would be a very exciting
job and would make me feel happy. One day, I will
make my dream come true.
Topic 3:
My favourite place in town
Hi everyone. I’m Mark. Today I’m going to talk about my favourite
place in town, which is the park near my house.
As you know, outside my house, I hear cars honking loudly. The
sidewalks are crowded with people and the buildings are all close to
each other. However, the park is different. It is very peaceful. I can
often hear birds singing in the park. There are also open spaces with
green grass and colourful flowers. I usually see people napping or
chatting there. In the middle of the park, there is a marble fountain
and wooden benches. On a nice day, I like to sit on one of the
benches and read a good book.
It is wonderful to have a relaxing place in a busy and noisy city.
Topic 4:
My favourite season
Good morning everyone. My name’s Mary. I have a question for you “How many
seasons are there in a year?” Yes, there are four seasons in a year including
spring, summer, autumn and winter. My favourite season is summer. I like it
because I don’t have to go to school and I can get up late in the morning during
long summer holiday.
In summer, the weather is hot. The plants grow bigger. I see many flowers and
trees. I hear birds singing and bees buzzing. I can eat a lot of favourite fruit in
summer, for example, mangoes, water melons, oranges, pine apples, coconuts.
I wear my T-shirt and shorts. I go swimming with my sister every day. On summer
vacation, I go to the beach with my family. I swim, build sandcastles, play beach
games with my family and relax on the warm sand. Therefore, I always look
forward to summer.
Topic 5: My favourite book
Good morning everyone. My name’s Alex. Firstly, I’d like to ask you “Do you like
reading book?” In my opinion, reading books is considered a good habit and
increases our knowledge. Therefore, I am really interested in reading books and I
have read many books on different subjects but my favourite book is “The Jungle
Book”.
This book was written by Rudyard Kipling. The story is about a human child Mowgli
brought up in a dense jungle raised by a group of wolves. The story began when
Bagheera, the friendly panther discovered a brown baby boy and brought him to
the group of wolves. Mowgli was then raised by the Mother Wolf as her own cub.
This was how this adventurous story of Mowgli began in the jungle. Bagheera, the
black panther became his best friend. Baloo, the big brown bear was also Mowgli’s
friend and teacher. Mowgli learned all the ways of the jungle from his father wolf.
I often read this book during bedtime and all the stories are interesting to read.
I love reading storybooks and wish to explore a few other books too.
