STATEMENT OF
THE PROBLEM
Many solo parents are struggling on where to leave their child when
they are off to work or going somewhere important that does not allow
them to bring their child with. Solo parents are parents who do not
receive any support from their former partner in terms of raising their
child. When they are off to work, they sometimes leave their child to a
relative or a person they are close. They also pay that relative or friend
for the inconvenience because there are relatives o friends who are also
busy with their lives but cannot turn down a request from a solo parent.
With Child Welfare Institution, solo parents will have a place to leave
their child when they are off to work. They will still pay for their
children’s stay but it is a better choice unlike inconveniencing a relative
to monitor their child. In this institution, their children will be left
safely, able to enjoy and interact with others, and gain basic knowledge
that will be useful for them. General Problem The major goal of this

According to The Lancet Regional Health (2022), left behind children
experience a vast range of poor physical (general health, hygiene,
illness, and nutrition) and mental (behavioural, cognitive, and
emotional) health outcomes. Parents should be aware that financial

RESEARCH
DESIGN

Survey design is typically administered during large-scale

research and primarily relies on using closed questions to obtain
information that can be analyzed relatively quickly, such as
multiple-choice or dichotomous response answers. The data
obtained in a quantitative survey is numerical in nature and is
usually analysed using statistics. Quantitative designs and data
allow for researchers to obtain a general snapshot of trends in
your population of interest. Dr. Jessica G. Milss, 13th September
2021 The researcher used survey design to gain a greater
understanding about individual or group perspectives relative to
acceptance of child care assistance for solo parents.
INTSTRUMENT
OF THE STUDY

conducted an informal interview to gather information.
They conducted a simple survey of seeking the opinions
and experiences of the people in our community, specially
the single parents who are the main focus of their research
study. They observed that many of them lacks on giving
the proper support, attention, and care for their child who
is believed to be the future of our society. Their research
aims to help and support people, especially the single
parents with their obligations with their child to nurture
their growth and well-being.
DATA
ANALYSIS

To gather informations from the respondents, identifying the issue is

the first step to do. It is observed that the most easiest way to gain
opinions and informations from individuals is through initiating into an
informal interview. This form of interview occurs in a casual setting
where the conversation will be less structured and both parties will be
encouraged to participate in a way that comes most natural to their
regular state of being. Undergoing through this kind of interview
became a great help in collecting data from the respondents of this
study as they freely express their selves. According to the respondents
who were interviewed, most of them are facing the same problems
concerning their personal life in which involves the hardships of taking
responsibilities and obligations that they face with their children that is
clearly what this study aims to solve. Using nominal measurements
during the interview, it is clearly shown the importance and value of
the Acceptance of Childcare assistance for solo parents.
