Reading is a fundamental skill in the learning process

of a child. This is where they develops decoding,


comprehension, and retention.
As indicated in our PHIL-IRI and Monthly Assessment
in Reading (MAR) pupils from Grades 3 shows low
performance thus getting an MPS of 54.67% in September
and 62.73% last January.

There are 39 out of 99 pupils from Grade 3 who are not able to
decode, comprehend, and retain learning during reading.
