RHYTHM
- Is also known as the “framework of time” is
concerned with accents, durations, and flows of notes
- It include meter and time signature
- The beat of rhythm can be
- Unaccented beat (weak)
- Accented beat (strong)
NOTES
- Symbols that represents what pitch to play and for
long
REST
- Are symbols placed on the staff to indicate silence
or pause. Rest give the singer to breathe

OBJECTIVES FOR THIS LESSON
● Meaning of stress
● Eustress and Distress

STRESS
- Is the pressure or tension exerted from an unexpected
situation. It is the state of mental tension and worry
caused by problems in life, work, and others
- The feeling of overwhelmed or unable to cope with
mental or emotional pressure
EUSTRESS OR POSITIVE STRESS
- Eustress or positive stress occurs when your level of
stress is high enough to motivate you to move in to
action to get things accomplished

DISTRESS OR NEGATIVE
STRESS
- Distress or negative occurs when your level of stress
is either too high or too low and you body and/or
mind begins to respond negatively to the stressors
TYPES OF
STRESS
ACUTE STRESS
- This is the most common stress
- This stress is exhausting because od the symptoms such
as emotional distress, muscular problems, stomach
problems, and migraine
- Occurs when symptoms develop due to a particularly
stressful event

CHRONIC STRESS
- This kind of stress wears people away day after day
- This stress Destroys bodies, minds, and lives
EMOTIONAL STRESS
- Hormones get out of balance when one experiences
emotional stress
- it is a normal reaction to the pressures of everyday life
- Worry, fear, anger, sadness, and other emotions are also
all normal emotional responses.

SLEEP DEPRIVATION STRESS


- Is a triggering factor for the emergence of anxiety and
depression
- This occurs when the person is deprived of good and
natural sleep
DIETARY STRESS
- This disrupts the digestive system and hinders or even a
day of overwork
- The ways in which the food we take into our bodies
affects the digestive system

PHYSICAL STRESS
- Exerting too much effort from a workout cause
physical stress
- Sometimes this is a result of job demands
- You can feel some symptoms like aches and pains,
chest pain or feeling like your heart is racing and
trouble in sleeping
CHEMICAL
STRESS
- This stress from compound that are harmful or toxic to
the body
- This comes from the external environment
- Occurs when a tissue is damaged or inflamed as a result
of trauma or overuse

- It comes from poor diet, working too hard, obesity,
and improper food intake

MUSICAL FORMS
- Refers to the arrangement of various components in a
piece of music
VARIOUS
COMPONENTS

UNITARY
- Contains only one sections and remains the same all throughout the piece.
The lyrics may change but the music stays the same

BINARY
- Is musical form in two related sections both of which are usually
repeated

TERNARY
- Is usually though as a three-part musical form. The first and third
musical part is identical while the second part provides a contrast

- SYMBOL
Are mark and symbol in modern musical rotation to
describe pitch, rhythm, tempo, and to some degree,
its articulation
REPEAT SIGN
- Repeat sign are used to indicate a measure that is to be played again. These
sign may be placed at the end of the musical piece

DA CAPO (D.c)
- This musical term means “from the beginning” in italian. It means to
repeat from the top of beginning of the musical piece

DAL SEGNO (D.S)


- This means to repeat the measures starting from the segno sign
AL FINE
- This is an indication to the performer to repeat a
composition either from the beginning or the end

DA CAPO AL FINE
- Means to repeat everything from the beginning
ending with a measure and the word fine underneath

EFFECTS OF STRESS
- Stress can be positive when it keeps the body alert and ready to avoid
danger
- If stress continued without relief, it can lead to a condition called distress
which include physical symptoms such as headache, upset stomach,
elevated blood pressure, chest pain and sleeping problems
- Another bad effects of stress is the harmful use of alcohol, tobacco or drugs
when people try to relieve stress by using these substances

- Stress is normal and inevitable, you must teach your body to respond
positively to all kind of stress
