makes us feel good and improves our mood.
Boosts energy levels - Having high energy levels is extremely important at school, particularly during certain times of the year such as
exam season. It’s been scientifically proven that doing physical exercise delivers oxygen and nutrients to the entire body helping it to
work more efficiently.
Improves the quality of our sleep - As we establishing a good sleep pattern is essential for improving mental wellbeing. If you’re active
during the day, you tend to fall asleep easier and stay asleep for longer.
Helps to combat health issues - Being physically healthy means our bodies are better equipped to fight an illness which of course means
less days off school!
Opportunity to socialize - joining a sports team is a great way for students to get more involved with the school community and meet
new friends.
Emotional health

cope with life events and how we acknowledge our own emotions as well as those
of others. It doesn't mean being happy all of the time.

as becoming a new parent can all affect your mental and emotional health and day to day
living. Sometimes it is hard to know if what you are experiencing is depression or sadness,
