Agriculture design
• 5 examples of agricultural designs
– Agricultural robots
– Temperature and moisture sensors
– Aerial Images in Agriculture
– GPS technology
– Blockchain
Agricultural robots

Agricultural robots are specialized articles of technology that are

capable of assisting farmers with a wide range of operations.
They have the capability to analyze, contemplate, and carry out a
multitude of functions,
and they can be programmed to grow and evolve to match the needs of
various tasks.
Temperature and Moisture Sensors(Humid
Sensor)
• Humidity sensors work by
detecting changes that alter
electrical currents or temperature in
the air. There are three basic types
of humidity sensors: capacitive,
resistive and thermal. All three
types will monitor minute changes
in the atmosphere in order to
calculate the humidity in the air.
• The air temperature and humidity
sensor can monitor the air
temperature and humidity changes
in the agricultural planting
environment.
Aerial Images in Agriculture

• Aerial imagery is an indispensable

tool for topographical mapping and
the interpretation of places, objects,
and features. The remote sensing
method collects vital information that
can be used for land use, agricultural
management, forestry, conservation,
urban planning and more.
• Aerial imaging means taking images
with drones to help farmers manage
crops, soil, irrigation, and fertilization.
Different drones accomplish different
tasks. Some drones specifically spray
pesticides and herbicides, while other
drones plant and fertilize.
GPS technology

• Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers

provide a method for determining
location anywhere on the earth. Accurate,
automated position tracking with GPS
receivers allows farmers and agricultural
service providers to automatically record
data and apply variable rates of inputs to
smaller areas within larger fields.
• GPS-based applications in precision
farming are being used for farm planning,
field mapping, soil sampling, tractor
guidance, crop scouting, variable rate
applications, and yield mapping. GPS
allows farmers to work during low
visibility field conditions such as rain,
dust, fog, and darkness.
BLOCKCHAIN AGRICULTURE
• Blockchain agriculture enables
the traceability of information
in the food supply chain to
improve food safety.
Blockchain's ability to store and
manage data creates
traceability, which is used to
facilitate the development and
use of innovations for
intelligent farming and index-
based agriculture insurance.
