ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECT
The proposed business will manufacture its product using machines and waste materials.
The waste includes:
• corrugated box
• styro-sheets
• paper from the sticker label
These waste products will be handled correctly and disposed of properly.
CHAPTER 8
SUMMARY
• Aims to design a product that is not only cheaper but also tidy to use, easy to
ignite, and eco-friendlier.
• The researchers found that the traditional wood charcoal available on the
market lacked environmental safety, was difficult to ignite depending on the
type of wood, and was not uniform in size, which gave them a hard time using it.
BrewCoal: An Eco-
• The sellingBriquette
price of the product is PHP 240
with a 20% markup.
• An eco-briquette is uniform in size, easy to
ignite, tidy to use, cheaper than traditional
wood charcoal, and compliant with
environmental standards.
CHAPTER 8
Conclusion
• Produce a product that uses environmentally friendly materials,
such as used coffee grounds from coffee shops, which is the main
component of the briquette.
• Conducted in the three cities in Batangas, considering them as
potential markets because of their economic aspects.
• The survey conducted discovered that 89.62% of the respondents
were willing to buy the proposed product.
CHAPTER 8
Conclusion
• The market study also showed that the proposed product has a
market share of 1.72% in the first year and has a projected demand
of 53,221.
• The proposed product is cheaper than traditional wood charcoal
since it is expected to be priced at PHP 240.00, which is 120 pesos
cheaper than traditional wood charcoal.
• The eco-briquette gained 15.49% for the value of fixed carbon it
will lessen land destruction by utilizing the used coffee grounds.
