Introduction of a Business Idea
People are used to use single-use plastic bags for decades now when
they shopping, which has a very negative effect to environment at
the end because of poor waste management by the same people
who use those plastic.
At this very moment more than 25 Indian states and UTs have
banned the use of single-use plastic bags.
We intend to manufacture eco-friendly reusable shopping/grocery
bags and hand bags using clothes (cut pieces) which customers can
get for a very reasonable price.
Problem / Pain point of the Customer
• Disposing single use plastic bags into the environment leads to environment pollution
• Government policies on single use plastics
Overview of the company
• ‘Green Bags’ is a start-up company where we will be primarily
manufacturing eco-friendly shopping bags using cut-pieces of cloths
and other cloth materials.
• In addition to the shopping bags, we will also be manufacturing ladies
hand bags at the initial phrase of the company. Furthermore, we have
planned to expand our product portfolio with school bags and laptop
bags withing 2 years of commencement of the business.

• Vision – To become the top 5 companies in the state which provides


eco-friendly cloth shopping bags.

We designed this integrated marketing communication campaign as a cross-channel marketing
strategy that involves creating consistent campaigns across different platforms to provide a
cohesive experience to the customers.
The objectives of this IMC campaign are,

• Create awareness on environment pollution due to the single use plastics amongst our target

Conclusion
Our company ‘Green Bags’ comes up with the solution of providing eco-friendly and re-usable
cloth shopping bags and hand bags which are high quality with range of colors for affordable
prices.
The company expected to be much profitable from the second year of commencement of
business and grow in the market as sustainable product manufacturer in the state of Gujarat.
The ultimate motive of this proposed enterprise is to contribute to make this country a plastic
free nation while providing job opportunities to rural area low income individuals.
