Name of Artifact: Reflective Summary

PPST STRAND: 7.4 Professional reflection and learning to

improve practice

Through this course, I learned a lot about my self

as a teacher. I realized what more can I help my pupils, my
colleagues and the community with the abilities that I have.
What are the ways that I could impart something to them?
There are times where I question myself on how effective I
am as teacher? Are the learnings I imparted to my pupils
enough?
The most essential thing that a teacher should
acquire is time management. I have to print the modules
and at the same time doing some reports and other paper
works compared to face-to-face classes wherein you are
focused teaching your pupils and still you can do paper
works afterwards. Mental health should always be a
priority. Learn to rest but not to give up. Do things that
makes you happy. Appreciate the importance of teamwork.
It is satisfying for me to help people grow, seeing my
colleagues happy with the little that I could do to them
letting them feel that they we are helping hands as a team
in this challenging times.
I am beyond grateful for these experiences where
my abilities as a teacher was tested and challenged.
Through this, I was able to answer this question: “ Did you
performed well as a teacher amidst this pandemic?
My answer is yes, I performed well and did my
very best in order to deliver the learnings that my learners
need to acquire despite the difficult circumstances. The
collection of works is just a little piece of evidence to prove
how a teacher performed throughout the year. Always look
on the brighter side of things because there is always light
in your darkest times.
