MICHAEL GORBACHEV

Former President of
the Soviet Union
The Soviet Union, officially the Union of Soviet Socialist
Republics (USSR), was a Communist state that spanned
much of Eurasia from 1922 to 1991.
Context of Gorbachev’s leadership
