1. Abstract
The use of electric motors is very much applied in the industrial world and the like.
.
Measurement of speed (rpm) of an electric motor cannot be known for granted, a measuring
instrument is needed. Speed measuring devices or commonly called tachometers sold on the
market turned out to be relatively expensive and can only be seen from the measuring scale
and monitor screen. It is necessary to create a measuring device that can measure the cheap
rpm of an electric motor that is accurate and can be monitored wirelessly and can be
accessed via a smartphone. Wireless electric motor rpm measuring devices must also be
accessible easily and anywhere via an internet connection. The use of sensors that are
accurate, reliable, and cost-effective becomes important and superior. Hall sensor is the right
choice based on these factors. The working principle of this sensor is to calculate the PWM
signal when the motor rotates based on the hall sensor electromagnetic principle. The result
is a microcontroller system using a magnetic sensor or called the Hall effect Sensor to
measure the speed of an electric motor that works on an IoT (Internet of Thing) basis that is
low in cost to make it easier for the public

2. INTRODUCTION
This wireless era greatly facilitates.human activities, but in application
to monitoring of electric motor speed measuring instruments is still a
bit. Society certainly has difficulty with impracticality of measuring
instruments that use cables. It is necessary to create a measuring
instrument that can measuring the speed of an electric motor that is
cheap & accurate and can be monitored wirelessly. The development of
controls and monitors can be done remotely and wirelessly (wireless).
The technology used is also diverse, ranging from wifi connections to
internet-based Internet. The advantages of wireless technology is very
useful in this day and age. Among them compact in arranging tools, as
well as saving cables.

4. CONSULUTION

The voltage source of this module uses a 5 V DC adapter. Installed 16x2 LCD
on the module serves to display the value of Rpm processed by the microprocessor. Picture

via pin female molex foot 3. Hall sensor gets a digital signal value change
from the movement of the magnet mounted on the rotor. When the motor starts to rotate the value of Rpm
will come out right away. Two red and black banana jack pins are used to measure
the input voltage to the electric motor. Voltage and Rpm that have been processed by
The NodeMCU will then be sent to the Blynk platform cloud server.
