Privacy Incognito Mode When users browse the Web in Incognito Mode, the history of their visited
Web site is not recorded by Chrome. This is useful in a multi-user
environment when users do not want other users to see their
browsing history.
Clearing Browsing Chrome provides options for deleting different types of user data
Data recorded by the browser, including their browsing history, saved
passwords, and saved form data.
Additional Apps Chrome allows a user to install small application (called ‘Apps’) for
Functionalit providing extended functionality, such as games, news feeds, and stock
y quotes.
Chrome provides a large collection of free apps on the Chrome Web Store.
Extensions Extensions are used to add more features to the browser, such as
currency conversion and session management. Chrome provides
thousands of free extensions on the Chrome Web Store.
When a link on the Web page is clicked, the linked page is displayed in
the window over the page on which link was displayed.
When users have opened several tabs in the current window, they may
want to open an important Web page in a new window to focus only on
that page.
Following are the two ways to open a Web page in a new tab:

Option Usage
Sign In User can sign in to the Google account and personalize the browser settings.
On Startup Sets startup behaviour of Google Chrome.
Appearance Sets Chrome browser overall view and themes setup.
Search Sets default search engine which should be used by Chrome browser.
Users User can add or remove users who can use the Chrome browser.
Default Browser Google Chrome if selected as default browser makes it as system’s
default Web browser.
Privacy Sets options for handling JavaScripts, images, and cookies.
Passwords & Stores or deletes as options are selected, Web sites passwords and
forms forms settings.
Web content Settings like fonts and zooming is controlled.
Network Setting up network/proxy access options.
Languages Google Chrome browser also allows language selection with this option.
Option Usage
Downloads This option is used to specify the location of downloaded files.
HTTPS / SSL Manages sites certificates settings.
Google Cloud Print Allows users to print the Web document on any printer which is
connected to cloud service.
System Controls Chrome’s HW acceleration and running on background
behaviour.
Reset Browser Setting User can use this option to reset all Google Chrome browser’s
settings back to factory mode.
It provides a limited preview of several books and also provides full text
of some of the books.
Registered Google users can save their favourite books in their personal
library through the My Library feature on Google Books.
It also gives direct links to buy these books on online bookstores like
Amazon
and Barnes and Noble.
The Page Rank algorithm ranks a Web page taking into consideration the
importance of a Web page, and not just how many times the search
query appears on it.
Google Maps is an online map service that allows a user to view detailed
maps from their Web browser and also provides driving directions
between two places.
