Midterm Presentation

By: Ahmed Fonah, Ralph Worley, and Fashad

Morrison
Executive Summary

Our overall goal for this project was to design a fully-functional restaurant website (responsive
in nature), that would successfully allow a user to order menu items to be delivered to them. To
reach this goal, we had to set up objectives/sub-goals that would aid in this process. Some of
the core project objectives that we set for this midterm presentation included: creating the
pages for the website, creating the menu items, designing a registration button for new users,
designing a login button for users who have already registered, designing a cart button for
users to store menu items, and designing a place order button for users to order their cart
items.

The outcomes of all of these sub-goals that we set were successful. All of our buttons and
pages work flawlessly and are ready for us to implement our back-end code (which will allow us
to store our orders and user information in a database).
Product/Service Description

As a fully functional & responsive restaurant website, we are providing a service in which
customers will be able to create an account, login, and instantly order their food from.
Customers (users) will be able to log into their account, which will hold both their user profile &
order information. User profile information will contain the logged in users name, email
address, phone number, and delivery address, which are all vital when customers order their
food. Order information will contain items that users have planned to order from our menu
which holds many options, including: burgers, pizzas, pastas, shakes, and desserts.
