Seven Conditions Before Salah
You need to make sure seven things are done, before you start to pray.

These are as follows:

1.Make sure the body is clean…
• Make sure you have baths/showers and ensure there is no impurity
on your body
• Clean yourself properly in the toilet
• Do wudhu properly

2.Make sure your clothes are clean…
• Ensure there are no impurities on your clothes
• Eat sensibly at lunch time so you don’t get dirty clothes
• Ensure your clothes don’t touch the floor as the floor is dirty!

3.Clean place to pray…
• Ensure you pray on a clean surface area
• Try praying on a musalla

4. Cover your body…
• Try to wear your best
clothes during salah
as you are meeting
Allah
• Boys need to make
sure that at least
knees to belly button
is covered
• Girls need to make
sure their whole body
is covered including
their hair

5. Face the Qibla
• All Muslims have to pray towards the Qibla which is
the direction of the Kabah

 6. Pray at the correct time…
• All Muslims have to make sure that they pray the
correct salah in the correct time
• Fajr before sunrise
• Zuhr at noon time
• Asr in the afternoon
• Maghrib after sunset
• Esha at nightime
