1 can of tuna Two slices of bread Salad Mayonnaise 1 small container (for mixing)
Optional: BBQ sauce
Step 2: Open and Drain the Tuna
Don't cut yourself and make sure to get as much of the liquid out as possible.
Step 3: Put Tuna in a Bowl and Add Other Ingredients
Add Mayo (or tartar sauce if you prefer) and any other ingredients you might like. With just mayo the sandwich will be plain. I usually add a little bit of BBQ sauce, honey dijon mustard and a little bit of relish. Other people like to add diced celery, onion, or anything else you find in your fridge. Experiment! Step 4: Mix Well Make sure to break up the chunks of tuna and make sure the mayo is evenly mixed. A smooth consistency is the best.
Step 5: Place in Fridge (optional)
I prefer my tuna sandwich with the bread hot and the tuna cold so I usually refrigerate the tuna mix overnight. This is optional.
Step 7: Spread the Tuna
One can of tuna will make 1-2 tuna sandwiches (depending on how much tuna you want).
Step 8: Enjoy! Now you have a delicious tuna sandwich. Eat up!
