Motion?
 5. What do you think that the Three Laws of Motion that Sir Isaac
discover?
 6.What are the three Laws of Motion? How does Laws of Motion apply in
our daily activities or any objects? How do the three Newton’s laws of
motion differ from one another?

 To know more about this, the teacher will show a different

pictures/situation that apply the three Laws of Motion
Have you ever wondered why
our body tends to move
forward when the vehicle we
are riding suddenly stops?
 What will happen to the two passengers if
the driver will suddenly step/apply on the
brake? What happened to passengers on
board in the jeepney?

 Answer: The passengers tend to be thrown forward when brakes are suddenly
applied
Why are the passengers thrown forward when a
speeding jeepney stops suddenly?

 Answer: This is due to inertia, when the speeding jeepney stops suddenly, lower part of the
body comes to rest while the upper part of the body comes to rest while the upper part of the
body tends to maintain uniform motion. Hence, the passengers are thrown forward. a passenger
tends to move outward when the car makes a sudden turn/stop
Try to consider yourself riding a
motorcycle/habal – habal. Supposing that the
driver will suddenly step off the brake. What
do you think will happen to you?
Why do objects tend to maintain its
state? What law of motion is being
demonstrated?
Law of Inertia

Newton’s first law states that every object continues in a state of rest, or of uniform speed in a straight line,
unless acted on by a nonzero net force.
