ANOVA TEST
• The ANOVA test allows a comparison of more than two groups at the same time to determine whether a
relationship exists between them. A factorial ANOVA is an Analysis of Variance test with more than one
independent variable, or factor. It can also refer to more than one Level of Independent Variable.

INTERPRETATION
• Checking whether one variable is dependent on another variable. So, if P critical value <0.05 means
‘Rejection’ and if P value >0.05 ‘Acceptance’. The smaller the p-value, the stronger the evidence that you
should reject the null hypothesis.

• As per the question -your view on women suitable for managerial positions in Aidas. Hence the test tells
that the gender alone doesn't matter to fit the suitable role for managerial position.

CORRELATION TEST

• Correlation is used to test relationships between quantitative variables or categorical variables. In other words, it's
a measure of how things are related. The study of how variables are correlated is called correlation analysis.

INTERPRETATION
• As per the question - Your opinion on percentage of women occupying top managerial positions in the IT
firms compared to gender? Hence the test tells that there is no correlation between the gender and opinion
of employees in IT firms.

CHI - SQUARE TEST

• A chi-square test is a statistical test used to compare observed results with expected results. The purpose of
this test is to determine if a difference between observed data and expected data is due to chance, or if it is
due to a relationship between the variables you are studying.

INTERPRETATION
FINDINGS

• From the correlation results, Gender has no influence with the overall satisfaction of the employees

• From the results of Chi-Square analysis, employees are allotted fairly and equally to all positions and not
based on the gender.

• Mann Whitney test results that, employees are rewarded for their dedication and commitment and not
based on the gender category.
SUGGESTIONS

• The gender pay gap is more like a gender opportunity gap. It has been seen that when males and females
start their progress from scratch, men are usually offered more opportunities leading to higher-paying
leadership positions.

• Workplace gender diversity should be the goal of every company. It increases productivity, creativity, improves
performance, staff retention, and enhances collaboration.

• Communication is said and known to be among a woman’s strongest skill. Female leaders will utilize this
power to enhance meaningful conversations with employers, co-workers and partners, thus creating an open
communication stream that creates a sense of clarity.
CONCLUSION

• Women in today’s world can excel in any profession. The positive nature of the
society and the environment can help women to achieve work – life balance and
give a wider chance for women to achieve higher goals in their life.
