 The ad is from 2019
 Heinz is an American food processing company founded in 1869
 This ad promotes one of their many products - ketchup
WHY ED SHEERAN?
 Ed Sheeran is an English singer-songwriter
 He is one of the most famous and popular singers of our time
 He got an idea for a Heinz ketchup commercial and posted it on
Instagram then got in touch with the people from Heinz and they made
this ad
 In 2019, the same year the ad was made, Ed Sheeran released an
album
 The album is called No.6 Collaborations Project and it is his fourth
studio album
 Ed is such a big fan of Heinz ketchup that he got it tattooed on his arm
LET‘S WATCH THE AD
ED'S HEINZ AD
 As mentioned before, Ed himself came up with this idea
 The commercial uses tools such as:
 having a celebrity as the main character
 telling a story
 the main character being funny

 The commercial targets people any age, any gender, any colour – mainly people, who cook
often or use ketchup as a sauce often
 The message Ed wants to share is that Heinz ketchup adds flavour to all foods and makes it
better
 This advert is realist and humorous and the storyline flow is linear or sequential
ED X HEINZ
 In honor of National Ketchup Day and Heinz‘s 150th birthday
in 2019, Heinz honored Sheeran's loyalty with special-edition
ketchup bottles labeled ‘‘Heinz Tomato Edchup‘‘
 The tomato on the bottle is wearing glasses and has the same
haircut as Ed Sheeran
