MAKING Instructions made by

TARPAULIN MAKING
1. Open a Photoshop C6
Portable by double clicking
the icon, then click Yes on the
User Account Control dialog
box.

Note: You can use the installed Photoshop on

your PC/laptop
2. To start making tarp, click File, Select
New

3. On the dialog box, Set up

the required Width & Height
(inches), adjust the resolution
to 100, Color Mode
(CMYK/RGB), then click OK
4. To put background on the
workspace, Right click the
Rectangle Tool on the left side
toolbars, drag the fill handle to
its appropriate space.

5. Put your desired color by

activating the layer and click fill,
and color
6. To put additional background,
insert another rectangle tool,
repeat the step 4 to 5.
 Click Edit, select Transform Path,
choose Warp, then adjust the point/s
of warp.
 To duplicate the layer, right click the
layer, select duplicate. Move the
duplicated layer.
7. To put text, click the Type tool on
the left side of the workspace.
 Change its size, color & style by
activating the Type tool and press
Ctrl + A to select the Text.
 Readjust the size by pressing Ctrl +
T, then move the text to its desired
place.
 To edit text, click the Text Tool.
8. To put picture, click File, select
Place / Place Embedded.
Choose picture from the stored
file photo, then click Place.
 Readjust the size by pressing
Ctrl + T, (drag to its corner).
 To change the picture, delete
the layer, or press Ctrl + Z to
undo.
9. Trace the picture by clicking the Pen
tool on the left side toolbar.
 Position the Pen tool on the picture and
press the alt key on the keyboard.
 After the tracing, click Enter key, right
click the layer, select Rasterized layer,
click Select on the Menu Bar, choose
Inverse, and press Delete Key.
 Press Ctrl + D, to deselect the photo.
Resize it by pressing the Ctrl + T (drag
on its corner only).
10. To add another picture, click File,
select Place / Place Embedded.
 To create a circular photo, right click
the Marquee tool on the left side
toolbar, right click select Elliptical
Marquee Tool.
 Drag the mouse to the photo to create
a circular photo.
 Right click the activated layer, then,
choose Rasterize layer. Click Select,
then Inverse, and press delete.
11. To make the Text clear, put
Blending Options by activating
the layer, right click the layer,
select Blending Options.
 Click: Bevel & Emboss,
Contour, Texture & Stroke.
Change the color of the Stoke
contrast to the color of the text,
adjust the size of the Stroke
Structure, then click OK.
12. To save photo for editing:
 Click File, choose save, type the
File name, on the drop down
button, select psd, then click Save.

13. To save the photo for printing:

 Click File, choose save or save,
type the File name, on the drop
down button, select JPG, JPEG,
then click Save.
