The Black Death was a
Bubonic plague pandemic
occurring in Western
Eurasia and North Africa
from 1346 to 1353. It is the
most fatal pandemic
recorded in human history,
causing the death of 75–
200 million people, peaking
in Europe from 1347 to
1351.

 The holodomor 1932-1933
The Holodomor, also
known as the Terror-
Famine or the Great
Famine, was a man-made
famine in Soviet Ukraine
from 1932 to 1933 that
killed millions of Ukrainians.
The Holodomor famine was
part of the wider Soviet
famine of 1932–1933 which
affected the major grain-
producing areas of the
country.

 Atomic bombing of hiroshima and
nagasaki aug 6, 1945
The United States
detonated two atomic
bombs over the Japanese
cities of Hiroshima and
Nagasaki on 6 and 9
August 1945, respectively.
The two bombings killed
between 129,000 and
226,000 people, most of
whom were civilians, and
remain the only use of
nuclear weapons in armed
conflict.
