This project work is under-taken of the requirement for the ward of BCA Degree under PTU. We wish to express our heartiest thanks to all those who helped us to complete this project. It

based on the concept of creating a Web- based for Restaurant management system. The project Restaurant management system is an application to store valuable information regarding to employees, menus, orders, daily purchase effectively and efficiently. This project will help the casher in fast billing.

The project is

It adds and maintains records of available resources. It maintains restaurant details. It deletes redundant data about food orders, employees details etc. Make an easy interface through which manager can handle the proposed system as per his/her requirement. It gives customers proper information about foods and their price. Customers will give their order by phone calls. Moreover, it is easy in order to maintain the future prospect.

a) Software tools: Development tools: Flash 8.0, MS paint, Photoshop and Dream weaver. Database: Microsoft office access 2007. Language Used: Net beans IDE 6.8. Operating system: Windows XP service pack 2. b) Hardware tools: Intel Celeron processors. RAM-512DDRI or higher. Monitor -15 with resolution (768x1024) pixels. Hard Disk- Minimum 40 GB.

He or she can view, insert, delete, update information related to employee, order, stock, profit, asset, & daily purchase. Customer: He or she gets information about all available foods and their price. Customer has to give order through phone calls which will be available at our contact us module. Customer can also give their feedback about our foods quality, restaurant accommodation and restaurant environment.

Customer does not pay their money using credit card. Customer does not give their order on online basis.

The project ensures that it can handle all increasing complexity of the restaurant. The project will enable to collect information from databases quickly and it will be secured. It will help manager by giving day to day report of restaurant. It is time saving . It is cost effective.

The following are the future prospects:Employees pay their bill by using credit card. Other events such as what kind of goods vendors are provided to restaurant can be implemented. Employee can give their order on online basis. With this points applied on this application, the application will surely become professional, market ready, highly efficient and effective for any restaurant.
