CNHS towards Depression

 RATIONALE

According to Cohen (2008), depression is

a mental illness in which a person experiences
deep, unshakable sadness and reduced interest
in nearly all activities. People also use the term
depression to describe the temporary sadness,
loneliness, or blues that everyone feels from
time to time.
Research Questions

What are the factors of depression?

How you are going to handle life’s problem?

What is the intervention to avoid depression?

 Theoretical Lens

Martin Seligman (1974) proposed a cognitive

explanation of depression called learned
helplessness. According to Seligman’s learned
helplessness theory, depression occurs when a
person learns that thier attempts to escape negative
situations make no difference.
Theoretical Lens

As a consequence, they become passve and will

endure aversive stimulu or environments even
when escape is possible.
 Importance of the Study

This study aims to know the Perception of Grade

11 Students in depression. This research is hereditary
for all, not just only for the students tangled but it also
gives the knowledge about the impact of grade 11
students of CNHS to depression. This will also provide
awareness to prevent the depression of the students.
