CDI – AMMONIA PLANT
ELECTRICAL PANEL A/C

• The A/c unit was removed from the

location.
• The electrical wiring was checked,
and damaged wires were replaced.
• The contactor and thermostat were
changed.
• The pressure was checked on the
unit.
• The trial test was done, and the unit
was installed in the appropriate
location.
• The spare FCU and duct-able split
indoor units were taken out for
servicing.
• The condenser coil were treated
with caustic soda and water
servicing was done.
• The condenser coils were tested
for leaks.
• All the units were found to be in
good condition.
• Finally, the units were wrapped
up and stored.
BED PROJECT LV
ROOM A/C
MAINTENANCE
• The unit was shut down.
• The a/c unit was removed from the location.
• The air filters were cleaned .
• The motor condition was checked for
abnormal sound, vibration and heating.
• The refrigerant pressure was tested.
• The R22 gas was charged into the system due
to the low pressure.
• The trail run was conducted, and the unit
was fixed into the appropriate location and
started again.

STORAGE ROOM A/C
INSTALLATION
• The new split A/c unit was installed in the
ink storage room.
• The insulation was done on the pipeline.
• The electrical connection work needs to
be done for the unit.
HTC LV ROOM A/C
MAINTENANCE
• The unit was shut down.
• The a/c unit was removed from the location.
• The air filters, condenser and evaporator coils
were water serviced.
• The motor condition was checked for abnormal
sound, vibration and heating.
• The refrigerant pressure was tested.
• The R22 gas was charged into the system due to
the low pressure.
• The trail run was conducted, and the unit was
fixed into the appropriate location and started
again.

WATER PIPE INSULATION
• The chilled water pipeline was insulated.
CDI AMMONIA PLANT 1
THERMOSIPHON
• The system was shutdown.
• All the valves were shut off. Further, the drain valve
was opened to drain the water from the
thermosiphon.
• The thermosiphon unit was inspected for leakages.
• No leakage was found.
• The drain valve (ball valve) was replaced due to
improper function.
TMP – COOLING TOWER
MAINTENANCE
• The system was shutdown.
• The water from the sump was drained.
• The drift eliminators were cleaned.
• The debris from the sump were cleaned.
• The strainer and sump filter were
cleaned and fixed again.
• The water was refilled again in the sump.
• The circulation pump was checked for
operational.
• The unit was started again for operation.

GAS CHARGING AND
OIL DRAINING

• The refrigerant ammonia gas was

charged to the plant 1 system.
• The oil was drained from the unit to
check the oil condition.

• The BAFRY chemical dosing is being done on a

daily.
