making the heart glad;
the command of the LORD is radiant,
making the eyes light up.

The fear of the LORD is pure,
enduring forever;
the ordinances of the LORD are reliable
and altogether righteous.
 They are more desirable than gold – than

an abundance of pure gold;

and sweeter than honey dripping from a
honeycomb.

In addition, your servant is
warned by them,
and in keeping them
there is an abundant reward.

PRECEPT

It teaches us the mind

of Christ.
John 15:10 CSB

If you keep my commands you will remain

in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s
commands and remain in his love.

This is the precept.

John 15:11 CSB

I have told you these things so that my joy

may be in you and your joy may be
complete.

This is the resulting joy.

The whole universe, all

because of God’s

By faith we understand that the universe

The one who has my commands and keeps
