Sa pagtatapos ng aralin, ang mag- aaral ay
inaasahang:
a. natutukoy ang kinalalagyan ng Pilipinas sa
mundogamit ang globo at mapa batay sa
absolutong lokasyon at relatibong lokasyon
nito, at
b. nakabubuo ng mga ilustrasyong
nagpapakita ng lokasyon ng Pilipinas sa globo
at mapa gamit ang pamamaraang absolutong
lokasyon at relatibong lokasyon.

ilarawan)
Ang heographiya ay tumutukoy sa
pagsusulat o paglalarawan sa daigdig.
Pinag-aaralan dito ang lahat ng katangiang
pisikal ng daigdig at ang epekto nito sa
pamumuhay ng mga tao.

 Lokasyon
 Lokasyon- Ang lokasyon ay isang salita na
ginagamit upang ilarawan ang posisyon ng isang
bagay, bansa, o tao.
 Ang lokasyon ng isang bansa ay maaring malaman
sa pamamagitan ng absoluto o tiyak na lokasyon
at relatibong lokasyon.
 Sa pagtatakda ng lokasyon sa mapa o globo, may
mga likhang guhit na nakakatulong upang ito ay
madaling matukoy.

Ang latitud ay ang distansya ng isang lugar
na natutukoy sa pagitan ng dalawang

Ang longitud ay tumutukoy sa distansya ng
isang lugar sa pagitan ng dalawang meridyan
patungo sa silangan at kanluran patungo
punong meridyan.
Bukod sa latitud at longitud,
may mga likhang guhit parin

nakakatulong upang
maunawaan kung bakit sa
bawat lokasyon ay may
pagkakaiba sa kabuhayan,
klima, at pinagkukunang
yaman.

Greenwich sa England
na nasa 0⁰ longitud. Ang
180⁰ longitud mula sa
