• The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is community


created for social workers to progress their careers as well
networking throughout the country.

• Regular membership: Individuals who have completed BSW, MSW, DSW, or


PhD.
• Social work student membership: Individuals currently enrolled in an
accredited social work program.
• Associate student membership: Individuals currently enrolled in an
undergraduate or graduate program other than social work.
• Transitional membership: BSW or MSW student members who continue
membership after graduation. BSW are eligible for two years as transitional.
MSW are eligible for three years as transitional.
• Associate membership: Open to any with professional interest in social work.
• Retired Membership: Active members who are at least 55 years of age.
