Introduction
The aim of our project is to purify water in rural
areas of india. And to purify the water we have
used two methods, they are RO process.

Necessity of water purification

 Pure drinking water is essential for human life.


 According to WHO, 97% population of india
have the access of water.
 Water born diseases, such as typhoid, cholera,
diarrhea.
2.5 to 15 million children and old people are
affected by diarrhea.

What is Reverse Osmosis ?

Reverse Osmosis is a
technology that is used
to remove a large
majority of
contaminants from
water by pushing the
water under pressure
through a semi-
permeable membrane.

What types of elements are removed
by RO
 More than 99% of dissolved salts(ions).
 Dust Particles .
 Colloids .
 Organics.
 Bacteria.
 Pyrogens.
 And many more.
