 Early Childhood Curriculum
• We follow the standard Early Childhood curriculum of Ministry of Education
→ The curriculum focuses on children’s physical development, social development,
Communication and Language Development, exploration skills, art experiences, and
life skills with Play-based learning

• Play-based learning
→“Play-based learning” takes place when we create an environment in which play is
the natural means of exploring and discovering new things. In this type of learning
environment, teachers provide materials and opportunities for children to explore, ex-
periment, and engage in open-ended play.

 Programs

• Doing indoor activity and outdoor activity every day

→ Outdoor activity can be canceled due to weather or air pollution.

• And other various activities (field trip, school-community linked activity, and various
events).
→ We will send all details and photos through Kidsnote.

 New Student Adjustment Period

• During the first week, children stay at school for 1 hour with their parent.

• According to children’s adjustment, increase time to stay at school.

• When leaving your child at school, don’t sneak out while your child is distracted.

• Comfort them by letting him know you will return. Use terms they understand, like “I
will be back after lunch or nap time.”

▶9:30~10:30 - James, Marie, & Tamika (+ 2 more Korean children)

 Notice

• When your child is not feeling well or something happens, please let us
know through Kakaotalk message.

 What to Prepare

• A spoon & fork with case (Put in a plastic bag)

• A bib (Put in a plastic bag)
• Diapers (a pack),
• A toothbrush & tooth paste (we will give you bag & cup)
• Extra clothes with socks (Children drop food on clothes or wet their clothes often)
• Wet wipes (Quarterly. We will let you know in advance)
• Nap mat set (We will give them back on every Friday.Please wash them every
weekend)
• Please write your child’s name on all the personal stuff.
