 What is Dengue ?

Dengue is a viral infection transmitted to human

through the bite of infected mosquitoes.
The primary vectors that transmitted the desease are
Aedes aegypti mosquitoes and, to a lesser extent,
Aedes albopictus.
The virus responsible for causing dengue, is called
dengue virus (DENV).

There’s no cure or specific treatment for dengue.

You can only relieve the symptoms until the
infection has gone.
The best that you can do is go the nearest
hospital.

-Control mosquitoes inside and outside
your home
-practice the 4s campaign
