In in this presentation we will learn how to save water.

 Why water conservation ?
• WE SAVE THE WATER ON EARTH BECAUSE IT IS PRECIOUS
• WE CONSERVE WATER BECAUSE IT TAKES TOO MUCH TIME TO
PURIFY THE OCEAN ‘S SALTY WATER
• WE SHOULD NEVER WASTE WATER BECAUSE PEOPLE MUST BE
WORKING HARD FOR SENDING THE CLEAN WATER TO YOUR
HOUSE.
How can glaciers help in conserving water

 Freshwater
• Freshwater is found in glaciers, lakes, reservoirs, ponds, rivers, streams and
even groundwater.
• Freshwater can be found in pure water bodies. The water bodies in which
water is not clean freshwater will not be available because of water pollution.
So let ‘s not throw garbage into water.
• We can drink fresh water but if it becomes polluted water. Then we need to
clean the water which uses electricity. To generate electricity in some places
there are dams and if a dam ‘s water becomes a flood or if a glacier melts then
it will give extra water to grains and crops growing around and it will mix
with garbage on land. So lets not pollute land because if suddenly there comes
a flood.
 Tips for water conservation
• Switch off the tap while the brush is in your mouth.
• Use bucket of water instead of shower while you are taking a bath.
• While you are taking a glass of water for drinking, fill the glass only how
much is your capacity to drink.
• When you are in your home maintain a separate glass for you to drink water.
because you will keep on keeping it in the kitchen sink and you will wash it
with water again and again.
• Reduce the water flow per minute.
