INTRODUCTION
• The country of Somalia feels that the issue of sustainable growth and
development has been impoved in the last year (2019) and their main
goals: support conflict resolution and institutions to improve peace,
and socio-economic opportunities
• Progress also in gender equality and human rights
SUSTAINABLE & INCLUSIVE GROWTH
• Sustainable growth is not a problema, because it is in the group of
less pollutant countries in the world

• The Financial for Inclusive Growth in Somalia Programme (FIG-

Somalia) is a €4.5 million EU-Funded pilot programme component
under the European Union's Inclusive Local and Economic
Development (ILED) programme, whose objective is to contribute to
stability in Somalia
DEVELOPMENT PLANNING
• The Somali Gross Domestic Product (GDP) will grow by a real
compound growth rate of 5.5 percent per year during the plan period
up from estimated growth rate at present of less than 3.5 percent
DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL

• The domestic action is aiming to expand the production,
infraestructure sector and the social services as well as crating

• In conclusión, the delegation of Somalia believes that is a sustainable
country, and for creating a stable economy, is creating new Jobs sor
Somalian people
• The country of Somalia encourages the committee to support the
plan by encouragin trading between Somalia and other countries
