Project 1
A. Automatic Faucet (Touchless)
Project 1 A. Automatic Faucet (Touchless)

To prevent touching a contaminated

surface and then our eyes, nose or mouth,
we must wash our hands properly for at
least 20 seconds. Sometimes we could
touch the faucet carelessly after we wash
our hands and the faucet could be
contaminated. The person would then
touch his/ her eyes, nose or mouth, and
he/she has a higher chance of contracting
this coronavirus disease. To prevent this
from happening, we can use a touchless
faucet, this project.
Project 1 B. Automatic Faucet (Touchless)

Functions/Features

The water flow will be stopped when the faucet is not in use or during
soaping, and this saves water. You do not have to touch the surface of the
faucet after you wash your hands; you can wash your hands safely and
prevent coronavirus disease. The tube is led out of the plastic container and
acts as a faucet.
They made this project with limited resources. They had to use the
submersible water pump to demonstrate my project. This project is effective,
easy and only costs around $10 to build.

Arduino UNO - is a low-cost, flexible, and easy-to-use
programmable open-source microcontroller board that
can be integrated into a variety of electronic projects.

Solderless breadboard half size - This is a half size

breadboard, good for small projects. It's 2.2" x 3.4" (5.5
cm x 8.5 cm) with a standard double-strip in the middle
and two power rails on both sides .

Ultrasonic Distance Sensor - This economical sensor

provides 2cm to 400cm of non-contact measurement
Submersible Water Pump - Pumps that are

designed to be submersible are placed within
to 3mm.
the reservoir of water that needs pumping out.
Relay Module - relay module is an electrically operated
Jumper Wires - Jumper wires typically come
switch that can be turned on or off deciding to let
in three versions: male-to-male, male-to-
current flow through or not
female and female-to-female. The difference
between each is in the end point of the wire.
Project 1 D. Automatic Faucet (Touchless)

Insight

We like the water flow will be stopped when the faucet is not in use or during
soaping, and this saves water all the functions are on point very useful to
students or people and I like the most is you can reuse plastic containers and
convert them into touchless faucets. This prototype is portable and can be
used anywhere. They can be powered using rechargeable Li ion batteries and
the batteries can be charged with solar panels overall the project is perfect.
Project 2
A. Measure Heart Rate and SpO2 with MAX30102
Project 2 A. Measure Heart Rate and SpO2 with MAX30102

The pulse oximetry and heart rate monitor

module with Arduino UNO board, and
then make a project for measuring BPM
using this module + OLED display and a
Buzzer.

BPM are the "beats per minute" and they

are around 65-75 while resting for a
normal person, athletics may have lower
than that, and the SpO2 is the Oxygen
saturation level, and for a normal person
it's above 95%.
Project 2 B. Measure Heart Rate and SpO2 with MAX30102

Functions/Features

Measure Heart Rate and SpO2 with MAX30102 project is very useful and
essential for everyone's health. It can detect and measure a person's pulse
rate, which is very interesting and useful. The Project is in progress. Once
you've placed your finger, stay quiet for a few moments until you hear the
Buzzer's "Beeps" synchronized with your heartbeats or the OLED animation
is synchronized with it, at which point you'll be able to read a correct BPM.

Arduino UNO - is a low-cost, flexible, and easy-to-use

Adafruit oled 128x32 - These displays are small, only

about 1" diagonal, but very readable due to the high
contrast of an OLED display.

Buzzer- buzzer is also called a piezo buzzer. It is

basically a tiny speaker that you can connect directly to
an Arduino. You can make it sound a tone at a
frequency you set.

MAX30102 - The MAX30102 is an integrated pulse

oximetry and heart-rate monitor biosensor module. It
includes internal LEDs, photodetectors, optical
elements, and low-noise electronics with ambient light
rejection. The MAX30102 provides a complete system
solution to ease the design-in process for mobile.
Project 2 D. Measure Heart Rate and SpO2 with MAX30102

Insight

Based on the group's insights on the project According  to the opinions and ideas of
those who have tried the project, it has a great performance when some other people
apply it to their own selves.
The concept is quite beneficial because all you have to do is place your finger on a
sensor to determine how high or low your heart rate is, which is both interesting and
simple to use.
Even if some other individuals who attempted this project ran into issues, the
developer is quite responsive and responds to comments quickly to address the
problem and complaints. And, in terms of the group's suggestions for improving the
project's performance, the project's performance can be much improved if the project
uses the board first for a better outcome because it can consume a lot of memory
space. The group simply recommended that the project improve because it appears
that it is performing well.
Project 3
A. Alcohol Tester With LED lights made with Zerynth
Project 3 A. Alcohol Tester With LED lights made with Zerynth

In this project we explain how to create a

breathalyzer for estimating blood alcohol
content from breath sample using Zerynth
to program the board.
We used an Arduino Due but it is possible
to use other ARM board as Particle Core
and Photon and ST Nucleo, with the same
code because Zerynth is multiboard.
Project 3 B. Alcohol Tester With LED lights made with Zerynth

Functions/Features

In this work, we show how to use Zerynth to build a tester for determining
blood alcohol level from some kind of breath sample.
We used an Arduino Due, but also because Zerynth is multiboard, it is
feasible to utilize other ARM boards such as the Particle Core, Photon, and
ST Nucleo using the same code.
Our breathalyzer features nine LEDs, three of which are green and six of
which are red. They turn on and off depending on the amount of alcohol
detected by the MQ-3 sensor. The system must be calibrated by using the
resistors and setting the values of the calibration array in the code. Otherwise,
a potentiometer can be used. When the concentration is below a certain level,
the goal is to have only the three green LED lights on.

Arduino due Arduino Due has a number of facilities for
communicating with a computer, another Arduino or
other microcontrollers.

Alcohol Gas Sensor - This alcohol sensor is suitable

for detecting alcohol concentration on your breath, just
like your common breathalyzer. It has a high sensitivity
and fast response time. Sensor provides an analog
resistive output based on alcohol concentration.

Project 3 D. Alcohol Tester With LED lights made with Zerynth

Insight

Based on the most recent people who have tried the alcohol tester, it performs
well when applied to other people, allowing you to determine if they're not
drunk. The concept is appealing since all you have to do is breathe for the
sensor to detect how much alcohol is present in your body, which is both
exciting and simple to use. Even when the other people who use the alcohol
tester have no problems, if they do, the developer is quite attentive and can
respond immediately to fix the problem and concerns.
