Carry out the experiments and record your observations
Reactants Products Observation-Evidence of reaction

HCl+ Mg ribbon 2HCI(aq) +Mg(s)MgCl2(aq) +H2(g)  hydrogen gas is produced causing

the mixture to bubble
HCl+ Zn ZnCl2(aq)+H2(g) the reaction produces hydrogen gas
and bubbles ferociously.
HCl+AgNO3 AgCl(s) + HNO3(aq)  Precipitate formation

HCl+CaCO3 CaCl2+CO2+H2O The solid CaCO3 fades away into a

clear, colorless solution, releasing the
CO2 gas as noticeable bubbles.
HCl+NaCO3 NaCl(aq) +H2O(l)+CO2(g) Due to the carbon dioxide gas
bubbling through the solution
HCl+NaHCO3 NaCl+CO2+H2O Because of the carbon dioxide gas
that is bubbling through the solution

BaCl2+sodium sulfate  BaSO4 + 2NaCl Precipitate formation

Lead nitrate+KI Pbl2(s)+2KNO3(aq) Color change to yellow, Precipitate

formation
