• To relate an event.
• A form of writing that tells a story. It has a sequence of events.
• A storytelling where the sequence of events, not necessarily arranged in chronological order, told by a
narrator, happening in a particular place at particular time.

• An effective narrative is what which makes the reader think and compel him/her to read the narrative
again.
EFFECTIVE NARRATIVE WRITING

• Narrative should have a vivid description of details.
