    INHOUSE CALIBRATION OF REXROTH MAKE AMPLIFIER CARD

    OF HAEUSLER BEND ROLL


    Problem statement : Bottom roller rotation was stopped due to
    Rexroth amplifier card malfunctioning
    Background :
     Haeusler bottom roller amplifier card malfunctioning due to that
    bottom roller rotation stopped.
     We had spare Rexroth amplifier card, but it couldn’t be used as it
    was uncalibrated.
     We have contacted OEM regarding calibration issue but
    according to OEM it was very complex procedure and couldn’t
    calibrate remotely. Only it will be done by their expert which also
    not possible due to pandemic situation.
     OEM approx. cost including lodging/boarding and service charge
    was around 3 lacs, which would be affect production loss till their
    expert came.

    Solution :
     To resolve problem inhouse first we must find procedure to
    Benefits : calibrate Rexroth amplifier card for haeusler machine.
     Skill enhancement of team  For that we brainstormed with our team and finalized
     Approx. 3 lac saving due to inhouse calibration calibration procedure.
     Reduce production loss  According to prepared procedure and with proper
    precaution we have inhouse calibrated Rexroth amplifier
    card
