HBM MACHINE READING DATA

• From Mar-22 we have observed variation in

readings during interpolation.
• Details of reading are mentioned in report.
• We have set acceleration/deacceleration to
reduce variation, it is reduced up to some
extent but still variation is there.
• Variation reduced from -2.74mm max to -
0.73mm Variation up to -2.74mm
• One other problem is step at X axis during
interpolation.

Variation up to -0.73mm
Variation 1.27mm Variation 0.97mm Variation 1.09mm Variation 1.11mm

• After that we have tried to set dwell time with other parameter to mitigate
variations in reading, but it was only reduced but not achieved result.
• Variation reduced from 1.27mm to 0.57 mm

• We have decided to call third party to rectify the same issue.

Variation 0.57mm
Third party consultation Parameter Setting
During third party visit carried out following activity

• Tuning of each axis motor with the help of Fanuc software.

• After tuning, taken trial but still readings have disturbed need to set detail
parameter.
• Third party has set parameter accordingly which are mentioned in report.
• After setting of parameter our readings are falling in range. Variation reduced
from 1.39 mm to 0.04 mm.
• But step in X axis still coming.
• To remove step in axis, need to reduce mechanical error.
• For that first we are going for laser alignment and try to compensate mechanical
error and identify area to reduce mechanical error.
• Already Laser alignment quotation inquiry floated.
