NX-OS UPGRADE
 This is a Sample Slide

Step 1: Take console of the switch

 Step 2: Login to the switch
 Step 3: Download the nx-os from cisco website
 Step 4: Copy the file to the usb-drive.Insert the
usb-drive in switch, you will see log message
on terminal.
 Step 5: Type the command <dir usb1:>
 Step 6: Type the command <copy usb1: bootflash:>
 Step 7: Type the <show install all impact nxos
<name_x0002_of-nxos-image.bin>>
 The step 7 is optional it is basically used to verify the
image file for compatibility.
 Step 8: Type the command <install all nxos
bootflash:name of nx-os.bin>
In between switch will prompt type yes and enter, then
upgrade will finish.
You will see a message “switch will
reboot after this with new OS.”
 Once switch reloads, type show version and verify the
upgrade.
