Different types of determiners

Distributives
 Distributive determiners refer to a group of people or
things and to individual members of the group.
 Distributives shows different ways of looking at the
individuals within a group.
 They also express how something is distributed, shared or
divided.
Distributives
 It includes each, every, half, all, both, either.
I have invited my all friends on my birthday party.
Both of these cars belongs to my cousin.
Due to student week only half of the class was
present in Economics lecture.
Interrogative
 Interrogative determiners are most commonly used in
questions, both direct and indirect.
 It includes which, what, whose
From which university you did your graduation?
What is the time right now?
Whose book is this?
Quantifiers
 Quantifiers are words that are used to state quantity or
amount of something without stating the actual numbers.
 It includes some, any, few, little, more, each, both, all, etc.
 Quantifiers are commonly used with countable and
uncountable nouns.
Quantifiers
 Countable nouns are for things we can count using
numbers.
 Countable nouns have both forms singular and plural.
 The singular form can use the determiner “a” or “an”.
 To ask about the quantity of a countable noun we use “how
many?”.
I have two cars.
How many burgers do you want?
Quantifiers
 Uncountable nouns are for the things we cannot count
using numbers.
 Countable nouns are used with a singular verb.
 To ask about the quantity of a countable noun we use “how
much?”.
Can you give some information about laptops?
Nowadays a lot research is been done in the field
medicine.
