GROUP ACTIVITY

Title of the activity: Match it!!!


 You have 5 mins. For this activity.
 Group yourself into 5.
 Each group will be given an envelope, inside of it contains the
pictures and definition of the PPE
 All you need to do is to match the column A to column B using your
pen.
 When you’re done, post your work in the board.
Personal Protective Equipment
 Personal protective equipment (PPE) refers to
protective clothing, helmets, gloves, face shields,
goggles, facemasks and/or respirators or other
equipment designed to protect the wearer from
injury or the spread of infection or illness.
Safety Coverall

 Protectivecoveralls were created to ensure a high level


of protection during work activities. They cover or
replace personal clothing and their main purpose is to
protect the worker from chemical, biological,
mechanical, thermal, electromagnetic and electrical
hazards.
Welding Mask

a helmet used in arc welding that shields the


front of the head, has a protective lens for the
eyes, and is fitted with a headgear on which it
can usually be tilted up out of the way.
Welding Gloves

 Welding gloves are personal protective


equipment (PPE) that protect the hands of
welders from the hazards of welding. These
gloves allow digit articulation while protecting
the operator from electrical shock, extreme heat,
and ultraviolet and infrared radiation, and also
provide abrasion resistance and enhanced grip.
Safety shoes

 It prevents from getting foot injuries due to


slippery surface, heavy falling or rolling
objects, sharp piercing edges, pinch points,
rotary machinery, hot objects, loops of ropes
under tension, splinters, electricity, chemicals
or even bad weather etc
Safety glasses

 Safety goggles are a type of personal


protective equipment (PPE) that is worn on
the eye for its protection. Essentially, goggles
are safety glasses that fit tightly to the eye,
often with suction, and are secured with a
strap that goes around the back of the head.
