How to read radicals?
The simplest type of radicals are square root and cube
root.

We read it as “square root of” 3


We read it as “cube root of” 5
How to read radicals?
If the index of a radical is higher than 3 we say that as
“nth root of” followed by the radicand.

We read it as “fourth root of” 8


We read it as “tenth root of” 20
