Hand Sanitizers
 Hand sanitizers are a type of disinfectant and
antiseptic that is used to destroy
microorganisms (pathogens) such as harmful
viruses, fungi, and bacteria. Most hand
sanitizers are alcohol-based and come in gel,
foam, or liquid form.
Benefits of hand sanitizer:
 • require less time than hand washing.
• act quickly to kill microorganisms on hands.
• are more accessible than sinks.
• reduce bacterial counts on hands.
• do not promote antimicrobial resistance.
• are less irritating to skin than soap and water.
•some can even improve condition of skin.
What is the purpose of sanitizing?

 Sanitizing lowers the number of germs on

surfaces or objects to a safe level, as judged by
public health standards or requirements. This
process works by either cleaning or disinfecting
surfaces or objects to lower the risk of
spreading infection.
Conclusion:
 The automatic hand sanitizer device proposed
in this paper is ultimately expected to
contribute to contactless hand disinfection in
public places and virus infection prevention.
Additionally, it is economical and eco-friendly
by decreasing waste emissions.
