INTENTIONAL INJURIES
The term "intentional" is used to refer
to injuries resulting from purposeful
human action, whether directed at
oneself or others.
UNINTENTIONAL INJURIES

Unintentional injuries are those injuries


that are not inflicted purposely and
that occur without intent of harm.

avoid risks or dangers at home, school,
community, and in any situation.

care given to a person
has been injured or
suddenly taken ill.

provides first aid.

VITAL SIGN
Vital sign are the measurement of our
body's most basic functions such as the
body temperature, pulse rate, respiration
rate, blood pressure
a. BODY
TEMPARATURE
A very high or low
temperature may result to a
more serious problem if not
addressed immediately.
b. PULSE RATE
The pulse rate tells you the heart
rate or the number of times the heart
beat per minute. A first aider need to
assess whether the victims heart is
still beating or not.
c. RESPIRATION 12-16
This is important to know
whether the victim is still
breathing, normally, too
fast or too slow.
